SPECIAL EVENTS SCHEDULE
The Honolulu Advertiser GAR Sports, Health & Fitness Expo targets the fast growing world of adventure, action sports,
leisure activities, health and wellness through Pets, Finances, exercise, healthy foods and supplements information. The 3-day
Expo will include a faceted array of “ZONES” offering unique products, exciting services, inter-active workshops & demonstrations,
keiki fun & games, fantastic prize giveaways, a farmers’ market and food court and much, much more!
Additionally, it is the primary location where more than 20,000 participants of the Hawaiian Telcom Great Aloha Run (the
largest locally-based event giving individual donations to the community) pick up their race numbers and running packets.
The Expo encourages a healthy, happy and active lifestyle, physical fitness and even financial well-being! Our goal is to
improve the quality of life for the people of Hawaii by exposing them to an event that showcases the most up-to-date,
comprehensive, exciting and fun products and services in sports, health and fitness!
The GAR EXPO will afford the public and donors an opportunity to feel a part of this Great Aloha Run community effort. And, it will
be nothing like we have ever put on before – our goal is to be the BEST Sports, Health and Fitness in the USA!
The Hawaiian Telcom Great Aloha Run’s goal is to serve the needs of as many community organizations and charities as possible
AND to embrace a healthier lifestyle. The EXPO will be one of the vehicles we will use to fulfill our annual goal.
